Pre-School

Last Thursday (after being injected with rabies) I took a trip into playgroup,

While we are in Uganda we are establishing a link between the preschool in Mbale and our preschool in norwich- Holy Trinity Preschool Playgroup. 

We have teaching the kids in Norwich about Ugandan lifestyle, showing them pictures of the preschool building and kids there. The children have also created pictures of their faces, by painting/colouring/sticking, they are great! these will all be laminated and taken over to the Ugandan kids. We also took a voice recording of the kids singing 'For God so loved the world' and 'The wheels on the bus', these will be played to the Ugandan kids when teaching them the same songs (which will then be recorded and brought back to our Norwich kids!)

What are we doing at the Preschool in Uganda?

We are running the preschool programme for the first week we are in Uganda, this will be for a few hours every morning. 

The programme is based around having loads of fun,  being creative and teaching the kids bible stories. 

We want to build relationships with these kids, teach them, but also have loads of fun together! 

Prayer:

-Please pray for the kids of the preschool. That they will enjoy learning the Bible stories and begin to understand the meaning of them.

-Prayer for the CYFA members leading the sessions: Rosie, Jemima, Sienna, Lucy and Emily. Also please pray for them while they prepare the sessions.

-Safety and FUN during our sessions.
